First off we would like to say Happy New Year to all of you and we hope that 2013 brings you much positivity and growth! We have a few things to get everyone caught up to so let’s just get right to it as 2013 promises to be a fast paced year in the world of Powderburn.
We’ve finally finished up our new EP which is titled “Four Thirty Two” and it will be released on January 29th, 2013. The track listing is as follows:
1. Raise The Flag
3. The Substance Of All Things Hoped For
Not to be all cliché but good things really do come in small packages and even though this is just a 3-song EP, it clocks in at just under 15 minutes and in typical Powderburn fashion we touch on several different styles and musical textures. In addition to the hard work that we put into these songs, we would also like to thank the all-powerful Dale Singleton for his time and efforts in mixing the EP in a way that compliments the music very well.
Hometown show in Austin, TX
We’re starting off the new year with a hometown show at Dirty Dog on 6th street. This show will serve as a night to celebrate the release of “432” and we will be bringing quite the show to help kick this year off with a bang. We will also be appearing with Downfall 2012 and Nothing In Return as well as one other guest that is TBA at the moment.
